Features of Server based archiving:

1. Manages excessive email through centralized archiving process (by as much 50-90%)
2. Archives selected mail from the email account and places email in an archive database automatically.  The server based archiving user is not required to waste time determining which email needs archived.
3. The server based archiving customer can access all email whether or not it is archived from their email account.
4. Server based archiving preserves the original structure of the email account.
5. Full text searches from the email account also search the archive database automatically.
6. All email is accessed from the email account, there in not a separate database or view.
7. Server based archives can be completely reversed leaving the Lotus Notes customers email account in its original configuration.
8. Those who have delegated access for others to the mail file have the same access to archived items just as they do the email account itself.
