Data Restore Request Form

You may use this form to request data restoration on the bigred (student email server), frontier (UNL web server), unlnotes (faculty/staff email and groupware documents), or unlserve (email and research data files) server. To have files, directories, or mail restored to your account they must have been backed up to tape during the Operations Center system backups. If what you want restored is less than one day old or more than one year old, the Op Center probably can’t restore it.

Turnaround time for requests is normally 24 hours.

Upon completion of restoring requested folders/files, notification will be sent via e-mail or call-back if this has been requested it.
